Family-run hotel in the heart of Valle d'Aosta and more precisely in Valtournenche near the town, a few meters from the cable car linking the Valtournenche ski area with those of Breuil-Cervinia and Zermatt.

The family hotel now run by the owner Loredana is waiting for you to spend fabulous days in the summer where you can make wonderful walks for the various paths of Valtournenche and in winter where you can also ski on the fabulous ski slopes of Cervinia.

The management of the hotel is handled directly by Mrs. Loredana and her husband, Chef Luigi, who are available for any kind of need and to make your stay unforgettable.

OUR ROOMS
Hotel Etoile de Neige is a typically local ​​building with 27 cozy and bright guest rooms with the utmost comfort to accommodate you and make you feel right in the best way. Featuring color TV, internet, direct dial telephone, hairdryer, separate bathroom and heating, shower enclosure, overlook the large balcony and a stunning panorama that only Valtournenche and Valle d'Aosta can offer.

THE BREAKFAST
From 07:30 to 09:30 you can enjoy our rich breakfast buffet. You will find local dishes with a choice of "continental" (both sweet and salty) and the espresso coffee (with espresso, American coffee, cappuccino, hot chocolate, juices) and pies prepared directly by Chef Luigi.

Reservations are only confirmed upon payment of a deposit equal to 30% of the total cost of the stay, equal to 50% for the organized groups, a full amount for a one-day stay.

In case of early departure, the management reserves the right to charge 3 days of overnight stay according to the official tariff and in accordance with the Aosta Chamber of Commerce's use.

Restaurant and Pizzeria

Particular attention is dedicated to the cuisine that will give you the opportunity to choose between regional and national dishes proposed by the chef Luigi. Great combinations of good quality cuisine with our varieties of wines are great.
All in a very welcoming and sophisticated room.

We also remind you that you can taste typical specialties such as Fondue, Bourguignonne, Soup Valpellinentze, Raclette and of course Polenta Valdostana combined with deer in civets or other delicacies such as Neapolitan Pizza.

Every week we offer theme evenings (Valdostana, Spanish, Greek, English) and gala dinners. Possibility of breakfast work, extra meals with menu from 25 euros.

There is also a "Petite carte" menu available for our guests who like to choose different and original (extra) dishes for those who use the half-board treatment.

Valtournenche is one of the major touristic centers of the Aosta Valley and an important ski resort with the picturesque chain of the Grandes Murailles.

Gouffre des Busserailles and Cheneil in Valtournenche
Loc. Gouffre des Busserailles The orrido is located 3 km from the center of Valtournenche along the regional road n.46 for Breuil-Cervinia. It is a crack in the 104 m deep rock and 35 m deep created at the time of the great disgregation thanks to the erosive action of the Acagua and the glaciers of the Cervino. The horror is crossed by the Marmore torrent that here creates a majestic waterfall with a 10-meter jump.
Rascard d'Entreves and the birthplace of Luigi Carrel (1904-1983)
The Rascard d'Entreves is one of the architectural jewels of Valtournenche. It is located in the immediate vicinity of the City Hall, with which it is connected by a tunnel that allows access also via Roma, or the regional road to Breuil-Cervinia. The Rascard was completely renovated in the year 1999 in order to enhance the quality of the building, whose construction dates back to the 17th century (the beam of the roof is dated 1610).
Piazzetta delle Guide di Valtournenche
In this little piazza, overlooking the new town hall, there are medallions, tombstones and commemorative plaques that recall and celebrate the famous Alpine guides of the Cervino, the "Mountains" of Valtournenche, the true precursors of modern mountaineering.
Downhill skiing and cross-country skiing at Valtournenche
The Cime Bianche ski area extends from 2982 m to the Upper Hill of the White Caves up to 1570 m of Pian de la Glaea, offering 14 trails for a total of 35 km. 130 km of snow-covered ski runs also artificially allow skiers to ski in peace and reach the ski country at their feet.

• Car: you can easily get to Valtournenche with a rental car or with your private car. Take the A5 motorway towards Aosta and exit at Chatillon. Follow the signs Breuil-Cervinia Valtourneche SR 46 for about 20/30 minutes (about 20 km). If you travel in winter make sure you have winter tires and/or chains on board.

Only 9 km from Cervinia, 20 km from Saint Vincent where there are spas and Casinos, from here you can walk to several walks including the health trail and 300 mt from the Savda bus stop.
